Quick answers

What documents are required to apply?

A resume, your highest degree certificate and a government ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport or Voter ID). Teachers should also upload B.Ed / D.El.Ed certificates and any experience letters. Files can be PDF, JPG or PNG up to 5 MB each.

How does the online exam work?

The exam opens right after you pay the application fee. Teaching roles have 150 questions, field work 90 and work-from-school / college roles 60. Each question has 90 seconds, and the time you take to answer is recorded in milliseconds. A smartphone is mandatory.

How are candidates selected?

Only by exam marks. You must reach the qualifying mark, and the top scorers get the job, whether it is a teaching or field-work role. Equal marks are ranked by total answer time in milliseconds. Documents of selected candidates are then verified.

In which languages can I write the exam?

English, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi or Malayalam. You choose the language just before you start.
